Mira is a New Orleans native currently studying Chemical Engineering with concentrations in English and Comparative Literature and Pre-med awesomeness at Columbia University (kind of a mouthful, eh?). She tragically spends most of her time in class, lab, and the library since she still has not mastered the concept of slacking off. When she does have spare time, however, she likes to take long walks on the (urban) beach, play the violin, pine for New Orleans food, practice her Indian cooking skills, "work" on the novel she promised herself she'd write 10 years ago, and (of course) take photos. Living above the Mason-Dixon line for the past two years has taught her never to underestimate the power of good manners and posture, Southern charm, and rocking the XKCD life. Corporate bohemia is a pretty sweet existence, if she does say so herself.
